Dr. Yoodong Moon

Dr. Moon is a highly skilled dentist with years of experience from all over the world. The moment you meet Dr. Moon, you’ll be reassured by his friendliness, technical precision, and gentle chairside manner, all making him the preferred dentist in Palatine Palatine.

Dr. Yoodong Moon was born in a small rural town in South Korea. Since he was young, he loved to explore and traveled to many countries. He studied abroad in Australia and Japan. Then he moved to Maryland, where he began his career at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Moon moved to Anchorage, Alaska, and practiced full time as a general dentist for several years, thus gaining broad experience in all fields of dentistry. When his daughter was born, he and his family moved to Palatine to be near his wife’s family.

Dr. Moon remains updated on all the latest dental advancements by continuing to attend educational courses and seminars. When he is not working in clinic, he works as faculty member in Hiossen implant study clubs, giving lectures and overseeing the clinical portions of the lectures. He also diligently reads professional journals and publications in all areas of dentistry. He has completed a leading implant course, Implant MaxiCourses at Loma Linda University, Endodontic courses at DELendo with Dr. Buchanan, and many others.

He devotes many days to continuing dental education courses, well above the requirements of Illinois law. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Moon and wife, Yun, have lovely daughters named Adelyn and Evelyn. Dr. Moon enjoys playing golf, soccer, tennis, and table tennis, and loves spending time with his daughters.

Dr. Gina Han

Dr. Gina Han has been practicing dentistry in the Chicagoland area for over twenty years. After receiving a biological science degree from the University of Chicago, she went on to graduate from Columbia University Dental School in the year 2000. In addition to her knowledge and expertise in dentistry, she displays genuine care for her patients and aims for kindness, gentleness, and open communication. In her free time, Dr. Han enjoys spending time with her family, reading books on her Kindle, and walking her dog Chewie.

Judy

Hygienist

Judy graduated with honors and a Distinction in Clinical Advancement award from the College of Lake County Dental Hygiene program in 2010. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies at the Trinity International University. She has been working with our team since January 2021. You will come to see that she is compassionate, puts her patients at ease and ensures that you will have a positive dental experience. Judy loves her career as a dental hygienist and considers all her patients family. Judy was born and raised in Korea, she moved to the USA in 1993. In her spare time, she loves being with her family and friends and enjoys gardening

Office Manager & Treatment Plan Coordinator

Jim, our office manager and treatment plan coordinator, brings over fifteen years of experience in the dental field. He is always ready to help patients and our staff with whatever they need. Jim has a great personality and enjoys getting to know our patients. In his free time, Jim likes watching baseball, football, and taking his two golden retrievers on walks with his family.

Lena

Dental Assistant

Lena is one of our dental assistants. She came from Russia with her family in 1990. In 1992, Lena finished Illinois School for Health Careers and became a dental assistant. Since then, she has continued to work in the dental field. She likes to help people to have gorgeous smiles. Lena lives in Arlington Heights and enjoys to spend time with her great family.

Lorena

Dental Assistant

Lorena is one of our dental assistants. She is originally from El Salvador and came to the U.S. when she was 8 years old. Her interest in dentistry started while watching her mom get crowns on her front teeth. She found it very interesting the way that dentistry changed her mom’s smile and increased her confidence. She enjoys working out and spending time with her 2 children.

Bella

Front Desk Receptionist

Bella is our receptionist at the front desk. She has been in the dental field for over three years. She came from South Korea with her family in 2009 and is fluent in Korean. She is good at multitasking, accomplishes tasks accurately and quickly. Bella enjoys helping and getting to know our patients. Outside of the office, Bella likes to go to the gym and SoulCycle. She also loves to explore new restaurants.
